Do not miss this if you are interested in historical buildings and how wool is made into yarn. Yes it looks a little shabby at first, in no way meant as a negative, but that is how it would have been and you really get the feel of the conditions young girls worked in. The staff are really informative and you can get hands on with the wool. We went back for a second time a week later.
Very interesting
My wife and I dropped by on a hot and humid Tuesday afternoon and had an excellent tour given by Karen. She was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly as she answered our numerous questions. This small heritage site is well worth the quick and enjoyable tour.
What an amazing history and so well preserved, I highly recommend a visit
Got married at this venue in August. You can just make a donation to the museum. Staff was absoulutely amazing. They accomadated us with smiles and happiness. The property is beautiful for a small wedding. We had about 40 guests and it was perfect. The falls were great and we were able to take pictures on the grounds as well as inside the mill next to the big wheel. The staff was beyond wonderful. Rain or shine this location proved to be a great spot.
